2012 End of the World Nibiru
If you have
spent much time on the Web over
the past couple of years, odds
are you have run into some
information regarding the
2012 end of the world Nibiru
debate. At
www.theantichristidentity.com/stargate.htm
we are offering one of the most
controversial reports to address
this
concerning the link between
2012, the UFO phenomena and the
stargate agenda.
With all the major media
outlets pushing the 2012
hysteria it can be easy to get
caught up in the different
theories that surround this
inauspicious date. These include
increased solar flare activity,
black hole alignment,
geomagnetic reversal,
earthquakes, tidal waves, and so
on.
One of the more fascinating
topics involved is the 2012
Nibiru planet phenomena.
According to this theory, a lost
planet, sometimes also referred
to as “Planet X” will crash into
the earth, or pass closely by
it, having a cataclysmic effect.
This idea was
born out of the New Age movement
and first began circulating
around 1995. Besides those
individuals who see this event
as having a devastating effect
on the earth, there is also a
large camp that believes that
mankind is set to undergo an
evolution in consciousness on
this date.
Where do New Age scholars
receive these theories from?
Much of the early work was
actually performed by a man
named Zecharia Sitchin who is an
author with several books in
publication. According to him,
Planet X is home to the Anunnaki,
the alien beings who taught
early civilizations such as the
Sumerians and Mayans secrets
about our universe, such as the
number of planets in our solar
system. He states that according
to his research, the planet only
comes into our solar system once
every 3,600 years because of its
long elliptical orbit.
So, just what does 2012 end
of the world Nibiru have to
do with the Mayan Long Count
Calendar which supposedly
predicts the date of the end of
the world? Once again, according
to the New Age works of
Zachariah Sitchin and others in
the movement, the calendar was
originally given to the Olmec by
an Anunnaki which they named
Quetzalcoatl and it supposedly
ends on the date that he is
scheduled to return.
Author Daniel
Pinchbeck also wrote a book on
the subject which was published
in 2006 titled 2012: The Return
of Quetzalcoatl which links
these beliefs to other
phenomenon such as crop circles
and alien abduction.
