The
Third Antichrist Nostradamus
Nostradamus
talks of the third antichrist
as Xerxes, the King of
Babylon, from the same general
area as Attila the Hun (both
connected to southwest Asia).
This suggests that the
antichrist may come from Babylon
or southwest Asia. This seems to
be corroborated by another
quatrain:
The year
1999, seventh month,
From the sky will come a great
King of Terror:
To bring back to life the great
King of the Mongols,
Before and after Mars to reign
by good luck. (CX:Q72)
Many
interpret this quatrain to refer
to the attack on 911 although
the date is off by two years.
Some say 1999 is an anagram for
911. The important point here is
coming from the sky, this King
of Terror, brings back to life
the King of the Mongols, which
could be easily interpreted as
Genghis Khan, from the 13th
century, who conquered southwest
Asia as far as Babylon.

Another
quatrain often associated with
the third antichrist of
Nostradamus refers to
Hannibal and to Babylon.
Hannibal was the great warrior
from Carthage (in Northern
Africa) who used elephants to
attack the Romans in the Alps,
no less, during the 3rd century
BC.
One who
the infernal gods of Hannibal
Will cause to be reborn, terror
of mankind Never more horror nor
worse of days In the past than
will come to the Romans through
Babel. (CII:Q30)
In both of the last two
quatrains, the word terror
stands out and suggests that the
reign of the third antichrist
of Nostradamus, will be a
reign of terror. It also infers
that Babel (Babylon) brings
great terror to the Romans (to
the Italians or more broadly,
Europe). Lastly, another
quatrain often related to 911,
provides similar imagery.
At
forty-five degrees the sky will
burn,
Fire to approach the great new
city:
In an instant a great scattered
flame will leap up,
When one will want to demand
proof of the Normans. (CIV:Q97)
Is this a
reference to New York City, the
new city? Does this depict the
image we awoke to on the morning
of 9-11-01? We know that New
York is not exactly at 45° (it’s
41° - possibly Nostradamus’
incompetence with the Astrolabe
again). Plus, it’s true that
U.S. officials sought French
intelligence to help prove that
Osama Bin Laden was behind the
attacks. So the quatrain could
be linked to 911.
